After the closing of Freeman Transport (RIP) I’ve taken some time to pause…reflect…regroup. Figure some things out. Decide who I like to work with and what I like to design. I am very pleased to announce the opening of my latest project FairEnds. It is done in partnership with my friend Martin Carvajal formerly of Freemans Sporting Club. We will continue working with some of the same friends and introduce some new ones too. Have fun, we are.

A couple of weeks ago I was able to help the Chrome guys with a print job up in my neck of the woods. To celebrate the opening of their new Chicago store, they enlisted my man Chris Milliman to shoot the crew and produce a nice little monograph. And man did they produce. The Milliman piece is fantastic and the invite for the opening party is handy. If you’re in the hood next week, stop by for sure.

One of the great things about doing business today are the people that can reach out and contact you when you least expect it. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Sebastian Kaufmann, the man behind the beautiful online store Kaufman Mercantile. The store has a very interesting selection of products that are selected based on quality and very much strike my fancy. Especially their knives, candles and canning jars.
