The festivities start Friday night the 3rd when Balackdisco and from NYC, Lovefingers, rock the Amigo Room with their legendary disco jams. Saturday the 4th will be an all day and night party at the Commune Pool with Blackdisco, Lovefingers and many special guest entertaining everyone. The whole weekend will be recorded for a box CD set to be released at the end of July.

Here’s just a few photos from day four of construction there was too many and I don’t have time to edit them right now. We should be done by noon today ready for the opening tomorrow. Anyone in LA is welcome to come down to Space 15twenty and check out the party tomorrow night, Sat the 6th at 7PM. So here’s some photos of the first day of the Genericmanifesto pop-up going in at Space 1520. It’s 2K sqft so it’s a bit on the larger side. If you want to keep up on everything happening you can join the Generic Surplus Facebook page and I think we’re going to have one of those Twitter things going. Please keep in mind we don’t really know to much about facebook and nothing about Twitter so it may take some time for us to get up to speed.
